Breaking News!

Hi All,
Based on an interesting idea from Massimo Belgrano we decided to add an specific area on the forum for Harbour compiler related issues.
We could help to determine if issues posted are true bugs and then, report to Harbour's SourceForge bug tracker to be analyzed by harbour developers.
Since HMG includes now the 'official' Harbour make tool (HBMK2) and unmodified versions of contrib libraries, the bug analisys should be 'transparent' to Harbour developers.
Another interesting Massimo idea is to have a Wiki to help to create a (really needed) Harbour documentation.
Rathinagiri already added a Wiki to the site (TikiWiki). You can access it in:
www.hmgforum.com/wiki
Volunteers are welcome. We will succeed, only with your help.
Finally, we decided to, to add a Spanish language area in the forum ('HMG en Español') to avoid 'Spanglish' threads

.
All is already set and working.
Thanks in advance.
Rathinagiri S. & Roberto Lopez.

Hi Rathi and Roberto
First of all thanks for the initiative.
But I haven't found it very friendly.
It's slow, the serach button doesn't work and the reference format doesn`t seem very usefull
Also I have found 2 missing items in the help page: "see also" and "code example".
This is not bad critic but my personal impressions in order to try to improve the quality of this document tool.
My best regards
Angel

Hello Master Roberto, Friend Rathi and All Experts & Friends,
I am very happy to read this news.

I was offline for 2/3 days due to some festival. And my festive mood continues after hearing this great news!
Yes, I read about Massimo's great idea (and Victor's conversation) in CCH's forum and Harbour Developers' List. I also read Master's message in CCH's blog
This is very much needed. And, IMHO, HMGForum is the most organized forum (sorry friends from other groups and forums I like and respect you so much

) in whole Harbour / xHarbour community. So, this will be great helpful for both HMG and whole Harbour community
With best regards.
Sudip

Angel,
Was my idea to use current Harbour docs categories structure as a starting point.
A simpler alternative could be use the Clipper NG structure.
Perhaps we should do a poll to decide what docs structure is better.

Roberto.
