sobre nuevas versiones MySQL y LibMSQL.DLL

hola a todos colegas, ya hace un par de años estoy usando MySQL, estoy muy conforme, uso HMG.3.4.4, mi duda, despues de investigar un poco en la web y no encontrar nada concreto es , hay actualización de la libreria libmysql.dll ? hay una pagina oficial ? es de mysql ? que versión están usando Uds. ? tango de la libreria , como de MySQL ? yo uso una dll que tiene fecha año 2006 ! jeje, pero funciona. ... pero siempre es bueno acutalizarce. Bueno, si alguno me puede recomendar algo para actualizarme, si no , seguiré así, vuelvo a repetir, no tengo problemas.

not sure about MySQL / MariaDB but under PostgreSQL i still can use 32bit LibPQ.DLL v7.x on Client with Server v12.x 64 Bit. on Client Side DLL "just" made Connection and send Query to receive Result-Set

began with v8.x PostgreSQL it can use SSL so i need other DLL like ssleay32.dll and libeay32.dll to run LibPQ.DLL
but if your Client do not crypt Query you don´t need newer DLL.

on Server side new Version most have new "internal" Function so you can optimize your Query with SQL Function.

if you copy DLL from SQL-Server to Client be sure about 32 / 64 Bit DLL.
