Yes, nostalgia; but a major milestone ;)

No HD (it was a bit later), only two floppy ( 5.25" ) :)

The first PC I ever used (Aug '82?) had one floppy drive and 512K of memory - which could be upgraded to 640K.
The floppy disks held 160 K - before they double-sided them and made them 320K, and later 360K.
DOS and most applications used half the available memory to load anyway, so it wasn't a big problem that there was so little data storage -- it was difficult to create a data file bigger than the floppy disk capacity because of the RAM limitations!
Those were the days! Weren't they? ;-)

A side (maybe uninteresting:) ) note:

Mi third computer was a XT PC clone (circa 1990) and it was very disappointing for me in many areas:

1. BASIC language: My first computer was a TI99/4A (1984). I've owned the "TI Extended Basic" cartridge for it. This language was very powerful and advanced compared with 'basica' or GW-Basic, bundled with the DOS 3.1 or 3.3 disks...

2. Video: The TI99 and (specially) my second computer (a C64) had advanced color graphics, but my first PC had a modest Hercules compatible monochrome video adapter... sad... :)

3. Sound: While my PC was only able to 'beep' from time to time, my C64 had a formidable synthesizer capable of make real music or emulate human voice... much more sadness :)

4. Speed: Even my first XT clone was a NEC V20 at 10Mhz, BASIC, felt slower than CBM BASIC of my C64 (running at 1Mhz.). This continues being a mystery for me until today :)

Only with my second PC clone (a 386SX at 16Mhz, VGA video, Sound Blaster Pro audio) I've felt like I've had something better that my old home computers :)
