In my observation, when I run IDE, "Project Inspector" window gets the focus.

I've found the problem.

It is in the current HMG version.

The fix I've made for the focus problem is incorrect, but it arises when there is more than one window activated along main (as IDE does).

I'll published a fixed IDE and fixed HMG later.
