Nevertheless, we do not need to hurry; for abandon Sourforge and connect to Github; I think.

Anyway Github is a good choice.

Hi Rathi,

We can leave the last stable build at SF and moved over the future releases to github. Then when you or Roberto determined that it's about time to close down the SF download, please do so whenever you want to.

Initially i agree with Esgici.- Is there an special reason to move But if you and many others members are sure that moving Github is the right way, go on.-

I would have no objection to switching to Github (or some other) as the primary source, but think the following should be considered:

1. Many (CNet and others) seem to now employ the same, questionable method. It seems that you just need to be very careful doing any download these days, and not just keep hitting the Next button if you want to stay clear of unwanted, nuisance installations.
Should those who would be HMG users be more aware of this than a user who might just have been prompted to download a product to speed up their PC or clean up their registry?

2. Is it even possible to remove everything (or all but the latest release) from SourceForge? I don't know what sort of agreement exists, but have a suspicion that what's there may just be there forever, or until SF decides to remove it. If so, there would still be pointers all over the web to direct people to SF for HMG downloads, so there may not be much of an immediate effect.

Sorry - I don't mean to complicate this. Just stating a couple of thoughts.
