HMG 3.1.0 has support for unicode
It worked well when programming. For example: Text, Button, Label ...
But the IDE does not work when switching from English to Vietnamese. Because I also want to show the user community Foxpro switch to HMG in Vietnam.

HMG IDE - Vietnamese Language
Hi Dave,
If I need to create a new language I would make following:
- At C:\hmg.3.1.5\IDE there are IDE language files. I would take anyone as which will serve as guide me what I should translate. For example to create the portuguese language, in my case, I should take Spanish.UNI and make copy to Portuguese.UNI. If the language to be created has especial characters (accentuated ones) you should open with Notepad++ by the Encoding menu option "Encoding in UTF-8 without BOM".
- After loading the new file language I start translating according the exact format and descriptions. Note the format is begining with three numeric characters (this should be intact, do not mess it). The rest is just description and should be translated.
-No blank line should be left.
-Save it and ready to use... but remember, should it be saved as "Encoding in UTF-8 without BOM" format and more synthetic (succinct) as posible. This should garantee to display according each language.
And would be very much appreciated to receive your new language file. And thank you Dave for your interest.
I think that is it !
