HMG to web

Hi, i am coming back from a long absent time

i really enjoy the people in this forum, i belong to other forums, but so far,
this is the forum with the more friendly and kind people

ok, direct to the point

is there a way to "publish" pages from hmg to a web ??
example, open a web browser (firefox, ie)
and login in to the program
and in the next web page, have a list of contacts belonging to that user ??
all in web browser, to check and update the databses
in a lan or over the internet ??

Don't know if its good or not but its really interesting.

Thanks Concentra, i already check dbfree and try it, but the problem is you can not use indexes, and is only for 2 users (the free version)
there is also virtual pages for fox but not for xbase

anyone have a solution (preferably free) ???

You could start with this in harbour snv tree ...

C:\harbour\examples\httpsrv

Advante: it doesn't need external web server you can use anything linkable to harbour itself ( dbf, sql, netio, obc, ado, etc )

I am kind of lost with all this about hmg in explorer
is someone willing to teach me how to make hmg for the web ??
the classes could be over skype
i am willing to pay for your time and patience
the class could be in spanish or english

in short, i want to create an aplication with a 2 databases with information about customers and salespersons
the salesperson can add or modify customers over a desktop application, or over the internet, via web-browser
the salesperson needs a user-password page, and can only see-modify the customers assigned to him, and print a report
from that list

once again, i am more than happy to pay for the teaching

Puedes probar con Apache , Mysql y PHP para crear lo que necesitas, usa HMG para la aplicacion de escritorio.
