I want to be a HMG Poster

Welcome all from Jaworzno, Poland (19.2341 E 50.2267 N)

I am male 50, I've begun 30 years ago with Algol60, Fortran, Spectrum-Basic, QL-Basic, TurboPascal 3,4,5,6, Clipper87, 5.x, Paradox3.5,5, Access 2, Delphi 1,3,7, PHP, java and counting... Other languages are english, russian, ukrainian, german(almost forgooten...) and naturally polish. Now I see, the spanish is next in the schedule
After recognizing some of the capabilities of HMG, I'm now finally convinced there are some gold in the internet. Please let me write here to share my so-so experience (there are a lot of the unanswered questions here), not mention about unevitable bugs and glitches...

Soy Javier, tengo 48 años, vivo en Gran Canaria, Islas Canarias, llevaba unos 13 años sin tocar este tema, hacía aplicaciones en Clipper Summer 87, usaba el dBase III y siguientes, pero por necesidades laborales y la evolución de este mundo no volví a hacer nada, tan sólo trabajaba con Access, pero he necesitado alguna aplicación y me he reencontrado con estas páginas y hace tres días que he vuelto a renacer, a invertir mi tiempo en esto y sé que de ahora en adelante no dormiré hasta no conseguir lo que necesito. Gracias a todos por lo que están significando para mi.

Several days ago I need an application and started to find how to do it in the same way a used to do it in clipper, and find this marvelous world, I know that from now on I will not sleep anymore till I find what I need. Thanks every body. Sorry, I hope you will understand what I wrote in english.

I was a member in this forum few years ago. Coming back i did find that i cannot login, -perhaps my account has been deactivated or something. Anyway i did create a new one with a similar nickname. But still i was not able to access forums nor post msgs, until i finally discovered that i had to reply here to this topic.
So, here it is.

Hola Algernon, ante todo bienvenido. Te ha pasado lo mismo que a mi, yo abandoné clipper 5.3 por que no llegaba a los 32bits y hace unos 4 meses redescubrí este sitio maravilloso que me ha hecho "rejuvenecer" mi clippermania, y ya he realizado mi primer programa enteramente en harbour-HMG (Minigui extended en concreto) y te puedo garantizar que no hay nada que no puedas hacer, además todo las funciones, sentencias...de clipper funciona perfectamente en harbour, y si además cuentas con lo realizado por Roberto...pues que no hay limite.

Your old account Pete-wg had never been de-activated and that id is in HMG posters group also. IMHO, you might have forgotten the password?!

However, your new account is also activated. Once you are sure that the old account is working, we can delete this user account.

Unfortunately, i can't get back my old acc. When I ask for a new password and I send my usual yahoo e-mail, I see the answer below:
"The e-mail/username information submitted could not be found."
Since username is valid, then must be something with my old registered e-mail. If you could take a look into my old account and extract my then registered mail, it would be fine. If this is not practicable, then we can forget it. Thanks for your time.

Hmm.. It's wrong. Obviously i had typed it incorrectly, when i created my old account. (the problem is with minus in the middle, it should be underscore.) never mind. don't like to waste your time. i think i will stay with the new acc. thank you very much.
