Moderator notes

Sorry to all for all this, but if all of us want to socialize with everbody, we need to learn to respect anyone. As it was mentioned by many others colleagues here. So in that way, we can not accept any kind of discrimination, when this happen the moderator should it have the due right to intervent by exclude offensive materials being by re-editing message or not !

I would like to say that my wish for a long time (more than one year) to get rules for this forum and I always wished as moderator and as user too, which these rules are still not existing...
This matter Mr. Rathinagiri should it see soon as possible for the good health of our community, I hope so.

In all this time, before this discussion became again, I preferred to be in silent. But what I saw it became worst !

I will tell you something, using my right of "FREE COMMUNICATION":

I do not want to promote any expulsion, any offense (but with just the true) from this forum. But I believe some corrective measures should be applied just to control abuse when its happening.

I can not understand why Mr. Rathinagiri gives total rights to Esgici (like as moderator) for his own re-editing messages.
And he has done already upto one day I discovered and denounced him to Rathi (months was taken).

At my begining as moderator, Esgici critiquized me a lot because I had re-editing some user messages (corrective actions) and now you will read this then you will see he also re-edited messages from others too and he doesn't being a official moderator.
I do not know what is going to be with power if some day Esgici becomes a moderator

Seems he is untouchable. Why ? Due his age ?

After many Esgici's complains, offenses and too much fighting, he left many messages from himself without any sense. He has promoted so much noise and then excludes his messages. Why this ? All contains of forum is for community ownership. All what we post in public must need be public. Nobody has the right to delete messages even if is from his own autory. Except admin and moderators have this rights when rules are broken. That's it ! Am I wrong in this concepts ? Or upto when comunity rules and social rules will be broken ?

We need forum rules URGENTLY !

Sorry Rathi, to put this in public, but I waited much for this rules and when I tried to make my moderator job you have cutted me, left me with no much actions because this guy. IMO it was irrational and unfair your comments in public about me. I what to make my job freely, my rights back and with your consent (of course), but if you do not agree with my moderation, so please I want not be condemning in public, as it had been done. It is very simple to read in internet what a moderator has about rights and obligations in the forum.

As almost everybody knows, I'm from Argentina, so, my native tongue is Spanish and I'm ABSOLUTELY SURE that NOBODY is discriminating here. The simple fact is that most of people here writes in English, even when, that is not your native language. Such people, hopes that everybody do the same.

Said that, this is my humble petition to all people involved on this here:

1. Please, stop talking about discrimination. That is not happening here. In fact, suggesting such thing, promotes hate and division. This could end with many people leaving the forum. I'm pretty sure that nobody wants that.

2. To those hoping that English be the only language used, please, understand, that not all people here, are able to use English. If we not allow here other languages than English, these programmers simply will abandon us.
Creating subforums for different languages will solve the problem. I'm sure that many of our friends here could establish "bridges" between topics in different languages.
The flow of people wanting to communicate in their own language is unstoppable. If such thing is prohibited here, they will do in another place.

Muchas veces hay mala interpretación de las cosas incluso dentro del mismo idioma, por que cada región, incluso en México de donde soy, unas palabras que yo acostumbro en otra región de México son agresivas. Ahora me imagino de un país a otro..........., es difícil decir cuando una palabra es ofensiva o no.

Pero hago un llamado a todos los que están inconformes de como se lleva el foro por nuestros moderadores, si no están a gusto hagan su propuesta ampliamente y detalladamente guardando respeto a los demás, y si no consiguen o al final no están a gusto del resultado, LA PUERTA ESTA BIEN GRANDE y dejen a los que quieran seguir aquí trabajar a gusto.

Many times there are misinterpreting things even within the same language, for each region, including Mexico where I am, I usually words that in another region of Mexico are aggressive. Now I imagine from one country to another ........... is difficult to say when a word is offensive or not.

2. If a moderator has a discrepancy related to rules with the webmaster, he must solve with him via PM.

3. A moderator must not edit posts changing the user's original message. If the content is inappropriate, he must delete message and warn the user. If the user breaks the rules again, the moderator could suspend or ban him.

4. A moderator must not promote hate and division between users.

I agree with you Roberto for all what you said. I would like to believe there is no discrimination here.

Whith this Roberto, are you suggestting to open languages subforuns in each sections ?
Because there is a Spanish section, IMHO this quite good enough for who wish to write only in Spanish. But I would not wish to see many sections (repeated language for each section), dividing more the forum structure.

I also agree for openning new other section for other languages, if someone requires, because there is already an Spanish section. But more I'm in favor of to be yielding/flexible when someone write in non English.

Dear Roberto, you are right in many but in normal conditions. I know is very sad all my declarations, but also is very sad when happening much injustices and nobody say anything. As I said, I kept me in silent for long time until last days who the same person which is always protected by silent but he declared (just to read his messages) making undervalue of job of video from Daniel who is a big contributor in blog in Brasil. Recently same person made the same kind of undervalue to Javier Tovar, made same with Leopoldo Blancas... (where is Leopoldo now ?) nobody said anything. This is wrong ! Somebody must need to do something. One day bloom out.

This guy, made me crazy, he has done a real war posting garbage messages saying terrorific thinks about me. And in that time I remove each time he post those barbarities to the moderator section for Rathi to be read and understand. What I got with that ? More more angry and jealous of me. I need to defend me my self. I wish to participate everyone but without fighting.

I tried to avoid further discussions blocking the topic in the last incident, Rathi unlock this same topic without any pre-conversation in private with me. This is another reason I suspect the arbitrariness of someone who represents our community. If there is any discusion and talk of matter that are unrelated to the topic, I as moderator, I have the right to block it. I can make mistakes as every human being, but corrections, call me attention, always is done in a public way. And when I can not get response, I appeal to public communication. Unfortunately this sounds very anti-ethical, but we need to set some rules, do not you think ?
