Not banished in forum but moderation.
Do not be foolish. Toledo cut off any moderator, it was 5 person. He decides to make all the job. But my concept is intact and good grade in moderation. You can confirm with him here.
esgici wrote:Occurred too many complaints (same reasons in HMG Forum), forum admin Toledo intervened and this "great" man of our moderator is not moderator of Clipper Online now.
Are you happy ?
esgici wrote:Definitively he will continue saying "I was not banished"
Of course ! :D

Are angry because I said the true of Ronaldo (IMATECH) ? Your friend in bad :!:

I wanted to shut up for prevent grow the fight.

But sadly issue was deflected and simplified again a "language" issue.

Main problem isn't that.

It's ways of moderation of a "problematic" man.

If a system fails then it has a disruptive factor and continue malfunctioning until this factor eliminated

Our forum has one only one member who
  • - haven't any purpose other than to promote himself
    - provoking fights between people
    - fueled racism and ethnocentrism to hide ego-centrism of himself
    - using the trust given in good faith to himself as an instrument to beat the people crushed
    - despite don't making his duty the right, censoring, modifying even deleting ingenuous posts
    - continuously talking about "free speech" but want this right only for himself and Co.; banning to others.
    - and so on
and definitely this bozo isn't me.
All of this is from you ! Certainly !

If you prefer shut up, so please shut up, leave me in peace !

Mr. Rathinagiri, I can not accept all this accusation, I need to defend me myself when arbitrary actions is missing.

Please understand my point. It is time to leave all the fighting and work on in our goal without offenses. Ok ?

I disagree with you.

As I've said, freedom is good, but rules are too.

Without rules, freedom could be compromised.

At the start of MiniGUI library, I've created two groups in Yahoo: The original one (harbourminigui) in English and later harbourminigui_es (the Spanish one). A MiniGUI user from Brazil, created a Portuguese one.

All of the three groups worked (and still working) like a charm: MiniGUI users talking each other in their preferred language. Surprisingly (or not) many users participated in the three forums (ie: me).

So, we can reproduce that scheme here, creating subforums for the two major languages here (besides English ): Spanish and Portuguese.

This situation is reflecting the pains associated with growing. We are growing, so we must make decisions to help the things to keep working fine in the new situation.

Its life... we must adapt to overcome problems related with new situations. Please do not confuse personal problems with this.

As I've said, this is a little problem with a very easy solution.

Roberto I said "more" subforuns. Extra ones. Existing forum is ok but if Rathi will open subforuns also ok for me. I have no problems with languages. I only tried to mean that in my opinion it is not so necessary to create new subforuns in each sections.
Roberto Lopez wrote:As I've said, freedom is good, but rules are too.
I understood and it was a suggestion that I made to Rathi at beginning, just to put parameters in moderation actions and also for users too. He said: FREE COMMUNICATION, so for me OK. But I also wish to have same right for me too.
Roberto Lopez wrote:Without rules, freedom could be compromised.
Yes, also I think so. Some rules must be published: no personal offenses, not off topic, non flood of messages, no duplicated messages, etc...
Roberto Lopez wrote:So, we can reproduce that scheme here, creating subforums for the two major languages here (besides English ): Spanish and Portuguese.
This for me is OK, Roberto. Some people does not understand that here in south America, not all people has oportunitity, have not easy acces to English education. It is not easy, some latin countries to speak English is considered for rich people. It is easy for India (colonized by british), in Europe most of them speak English, here NOT.
Roberto Lopez wrote:As I've said, this is a little problem with a very easy solution.
Yes would be easy, just to have good comprehension with non-English speakers, that's so !

Yes, this is correct. But an important point: subject of all complaints was only one; so other four was punished for this person.
But my concept is intact and good grade in moderation. You can confirm with him here.
This is most shameless lie :o

Caution : again playing with words : said "is intact" not "was intact".

Dear Toledo, could you give us your opinion about my service as moderator in your forum. Here Esigici is defaming me.

Please Toledo, be free to talk about me even if it is critique about me. I accept the true and the people here need to know the real true.

I do all of these because, here Esgici is untouchable... and he speaks what he wants without any censure and non sense, most probably madness of his age.

Esgici, I do not want to discuss any more for today.

Now I have important thing to do, very special one: faire l'amour it is more important than discuss with you. And I suggest to make the same, of course if you can... :D

Remember you snake and firefly ?? And please let the people in peace. Is very afirmative that many are unhappy with this discuss that you are promoting in public (you calomnier me) and I have the right to defend my self.

IMO, this topic is personal discuss and offensive matters. Correspond to close, but I will not do this because now I do not know when I can act as moderator... :(

Finally:

Many years ago, the fight bewteen Harbour developers (Harbour vs. xHarbour thing) almost destroy Harbour and its discussion groups (mailing lists at that time).

Most people, tired of reading insults and personal aggression, simply abandoned the lists.

I invite to those having personal problems each other, to solve them via PM. If not, this thing could grow until the forum break.

The basic rules on any discussion group on the Internet applies to all of this members (including moderators). We expect that moderators be better than us, serving as an example for the rest of us, trying to solve problems and keeping the group working.

Set english on:

I don't use/like to participate in this kind of discussions, but, if both of you remain gossip and fighting like teen-agers defending ther pride, please do it using Private Message. I think what matter here is follow the rules and be open (to other languages), in my case I speak spanish and spent a lot of time to write in english but i do, i see that in lot of post people wirte in spanish or portuguese or even russian, without a simple google traslate, i thought that it was agree that all post could be wirten in any language but always along with the google traslation to english. Plese stop, this discussion and behave like gentlemen. I hope I have not offended anyone

Set spanish on:

Espero no haber ofendido a nadie

Regards,

Ed
