BTW ......
A couple of days ago I was just wondering how a man from different part of the world has given me a chance to do windows programming without cutting my roots as Clipper programmer. And I paid nothing to him and the community in terms of money. Sometimes people who are geographically distant to us and have never met in person becomes close to us, becomes more respectable to us. Don't know why there's so much hatred in this world...see how nice is our this forum with nice people from accross the globe. I think SHARING is the word we should practise. It will not be out of place to mention that Sudip shared his knowledge of xHarbour and HMG with me - so I learnt a bit. So guys let us help each other in the days to come and make HMG a strong platform.
Many things in the life has very strange origins.
The start of HMG is related with the economic crisis in Argentina in 2001-2002 (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argentine_ ... 1999-2002)).
I've got unemployed and I had to do 'something' with my free time, so, I've started MiniGUI library as an learning experiment.
From those days, a lot of things has happened. HMG allowed to me to meet good people and bad people. I've had to fight hard to defend my ideas and the project itself.
HMG had been seven years of my life. Sometimes wonderful, sometimes very hard.
This is one of the wonderful moments. Thanks to all of you again for it.
And... Never abandon your dreams.
Regards,
Roberto.
