I've heard several videos and all good.

Have you tried to get just a Beep from any other application (such as trying to PgUp from the top row of a spreadsheet, or by creating some other "error")? If you can hear other Beeps, then it must be something within your application. But if you don't hear any beeps at all, then maybe your system's "Disable beep" setting has been turned on?

As Daniel suggested, it may be: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Sound
