Cool phrase, Rathi! It must be write (big and bold symbols) on the wall near the every programmer's work table (if (s)he is a really programmer). Why I write progs?.. But why not? - if I can do it... and if it helps people to work easier, to live easier, to give the same results with less efforts (or greater results with the same efforts) (I think - Bell [with his phone], Markoni [with his radio], Gates and Jobs [with their OSs] and millions-millions people who transformed their dreams to something that helps people in whole world... thought something like that). For examle: I help doctor in hospital to make report easier and faster, he has additional time to cure bus driver... and as result - my wife doesn't need to wait a bus so long time at the street where cooooold Russian winter wind flies.
(BTW - we have -28 C in Yekaterinburg today 
I can't eat ice cream at the street )I only do what I can to make world little better and friendly place for human being (as all of us I hope).
Money?.. Yes, it needed thing (for today). But maybe somewhen in (nearly I hope) future it will be not needed ("do all what you can - and give all what you need" - it's main idea of [don't panic, please!
