new versions

Post by t57042 »

Hi,

Again a newbe question.

I have presently version3.0.25 installed.
Can anyone tell me what happens and how I have to install a new version (3.0.27) without
loosing data?
Is it automatically?

If you install with default options, the last version's place will be c:\hmg.3.0.27, without interfering with any other currently installed version.

Yes. It is automatic.

Actually it is installed in a new folder. However, if you want, you can also overwrite.
East or West HMG is the Best.
South or North HMG is worth.
...the possibilities are endless.

Don't hesitate to install the new version in the default folder, c:\hmg.3.0.27 at this time. Anyway, my advice is to move your projects (not the program) to another drive, let's say d:\hmg_projects, or even to pendrive, peace in mind guaranteed.
