hi,
when have URL they might LEN > 255 so i need a MEMO instead of Type "C"
but in GRID i see only <MEMO> ...
how to show Context of MEMO in GRID (or BROWSE)

C type fields can be longer than 255 in Harbour

Something like this
The two fields call [OBSERVACIONES] and [RESPUESTA] are memo fields of the Data Base in the grid above them

how much can Type "C" have under harbour
as i do used Source-Code also for Xbase++ i´m not sure if "other" can handle Type "C" > 255

Found out that DBU also show "<Memo>" so it seems "by Design"

I used to show a substring of Memo fields in grid. Then on doubleclick retrieve complete memo.

Yes,
Design , I use two memo field in this Data Base and then I use ON CHANGE clause of the GRID to show the content of the memo field
