a ActiveX Control most are *.OCX which is like a *.DLL so it is NOT a App.
a ActiveX most can "communicate" in "both Way" while a *.DLL just "one Way" so it is need to receive Notify Event of ActiveX

you can use "COMLicenceFinder.exe" for 32 Bit ActiveX to find "ProgID"
