Aviso: O texto abaixo contém termos idiomáticos do português.
Amigos,

Patavina = coisa alguma; nada

------------------------------------------
Warning: The following text contains idiomatic terms of the Portuguese.
Friends,
I do not understand why so much siricotico even because English is no Balacobaco (more like Indian language), and that, like all languages, contains terms that are local and difficult translation.
A learner can understand up smoke signals.
I have learned much Russian site and do not understand patavina (patavina is good too) Russian.
Of course, the ideal thing is to write in a language that everyone understands. But the truth is that we can only express ourselves with perfection in our native language.
In addition to see this forum many "experts" in English writing with typos, which is natural because we are human, but that sometimes make it difficult to read, but not so I will stay irratado who wrote as it is me passing knowledge.
So let's appease our spirits.
Speak the language of PEACE.

In time:
Siricotico = anxious, nervous, curious or three things at once
Balacobaco = quality and exceptional beauty
Patavina = nothing; nothing

A eles eu pergunto (frase do John Lennon): ... and what have you done ? outros diriam: "love is all you need..."

Por favor sejamos todos ecléticos e universais. :D

This is universal, correct every where, every time.

But here is not a language school and nobody ask the language perfection; here the essential is understand each other.

IMO our first problem is not language, but racism; more specific: an egocentric who use ethnocentrism only for promote he/she self.

Would you say me dear Amarante, why this topic moved to a "specific" (not open to everyone) forum ?

I will response to you Esgici, now as moderator. This topic was splitted from another topic which I considered OFF TOPIC and I do not agree with you when you said (not open to everyone), because this forum is a common place. Do you understand that ?

Please not again, with this topic.

We have to be tolerant, and don´t´ ask for translations, and as we said in my country: if you will not to say something good, is better to be quait and don´t say anythig.

My humble opinion:

The site should be reorganized based on major native languages of our users, in the same way like (ie) the Fivewin forum does.

- English Forums
- Foros en Español
- Forum Italiani
- Forum Portuguese
- Forum German

This way, users can choose your preferred language.

Simple as that.
Regards/Saludos,

Roberto

With my all respect to you Roberto, but I do not agree with that.

And what do you means with that ? We should write in the respective language strictly ? Is this a rule ?

I understand that's just an idea, but to applied we will need to clarify all of this. Because upto now, there is not rules in the forum. Which I have recommended for long time to have it.

Another suggestion is to apply the free microsoft system thru buttons in all pages of our site. Likes as PCToledo forum does:

This was also suggested by Esgici time ago ( viewtopic.php?p=37688#p37688 ) and please make him happy... :)

Is this what you want Esgici ? To divide ?

I mean, if would separate all messages to different forums and not allowing other language ?

Who's make this job for separating messages ? What about with existing messages in wrong forum ?

(Many questions, many rules) :?

IMHO: Without some rules can not be supported...

-----------------------------
Esgici,
I believe that you did not understand my thinking.
I tried to say that the language was never a barrier to people to express forum.
And I do not think English is the best language for it.
The best language is the willingness to understand others and see it missing here.
For a good listener, half a word is enough.
