There is sub-section in Spanish, but it causes that some users are lazy to try to write in English :-D

PS. My English is poor, but it's only one foreign language I know.
I have no time to learn Spanich at now.

A mandatory statement

Post by Pablo César »

Dear Rathi,

I think we are making much noise for something that is not so important. As Daniel and others users said: on these days... using translator it is very easy. By other side Marek said "lazy to try to write in English" who ? Whom does not speak English ? They MUST need to learn English ?? Come on !

I read many "translated" messages in English that is in complete non sense due the person doesn't dominates English language.

IMHO, in all of these case, I prefer to be writen in original language even when is bounded to be missunderstood by the translator one.

And when also whom writes in spanish or in any other non-English language is not be attended because the main difficulty of understanding, I think is usual to ASK to explain and by absolute prefferance of allof us to require to add source code examples due the not understanding. It is simple ! Why so much noise ? Due Mr Esgici who is disgusted with the language ? Why we must all be dueling between us ? This subject back around is always opened by the same person. He is leaving us all disgusted and even offended by the words and prejudices that person does. Read the subject description of this topic: "A mandatory statement"

I kindly ask that we have to stop always beating this same key.

Or so I'll leave the community because I do not like prejudices/preconceptions ! Preconceptions MUST be punished !

Here speak of religion, in other languages and I do not criticize anything about it.

gracias

Traslate Google .

Hello everyone:

Rathi: I ask that no more language sections, just ask to be a warm welcome to all members of HMGforum, just that ...

I like many English is not the native language and we know that online translators sometimes amuses and laughter but we used to try to see what it says ..
I myself know when you need HBTIP. I saw a Russian site where our friend Ale Gustow explained his code ..
Use the translator for it and could answer questions I had about this library ...

my opinion is if you want to help and do not question anything on the forum, we are here to help if something is wrong and and correct only in that way will have a good place where people want to stay and learn and contribute knowledge ..

thank you

Pienso exactamente igual.

Daniel Maximiliano, estoy contigo !

Reprobable.

Pablo,

It is not fair to just start writing in Spanish when people discussing here (even Daniel also) are writing in English. It can be accepted if you already don't know English at all. See, in the post #38147 you are writing in English well and the previous post you are writing in Spanish. This attitude is what that can't be digested by people like me, Marek and Esgici.

If you want to personally write to a particular person in particular language, there is a facility called Personal Message.

How can you say that Esgici is having ugly intention? You should not have written like that. As a member cum moderator it is not right.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When I enter the Forum (2 years ago), treated the same subject and suggesting us to do was post in both languages (in my case, Spanish and English).

* Why do not we keep this up, and forget the rest?
* I think the Forum should be published EVERYTHING related HMG (which is what unites us) and the rest should be treated privately.

Hi friends:

I agree with andyglezl suggestion.- All of us must make any effort to preserv this great forum.- Discussions like this goes nowhere.-
It usefull for our fellowship to forgive and (all people involucrated) forget this anger situation.-
All members loves HMG and put personal efforts to make it grow and grow.- So, goes on.-

Hi All,

When forum started, many times, I've wrote my messages twice (English and Spanish) without the aid of any automatic translation.

That was a tremendous effort and very time consumming, so, when translation technology got better, I've decided to write in English only, so, anyone, not able to read English, could undertand my messages using an adequate tool (ie: Chrome translator).

Moreover, I disagree with Esgici. The fact that new users, talk each other in their native tonge is not a bad thing, is a choice (their choice) and it does not mean that HMG is becoming "smaller", but the opposite: More users, More languages.

Besides, not every programmer in the world is capable of read and write in English. A programmer, not necessarily has a high degree of education (specially in underdevelopment countries) so, the use of English in this cases, is not a choice, they simply can't use it.

Sometimes we must to try to understand others, to walk in their shoes... not point and exclude them...
Regards/Saludos,

Roberto

Roberto, I wanted to know about your opinion in this regard. I think your point of view and explanation is suffice to have posts in multiple languages.

From the beginning I am also for it. We can't compel anybody to write in a particular language.

But, if you can write in English, please do so by taking some extra care. It is only a request. I can see most of your posts in English even though you could have written in any other language known to you.

I stopped my participation in the forum a long time ago

At that time, HMG created a new moderator (the problematic one ) who changed text from my messages and make me angry ( Esgici, Rathi, ... may remember )

HMG is a honest group and don't need a Problematic Moderator with offensive attitudes ( Only cause injury ) !

Best Regards

I see no post's in Portuguese here ( may exist some ! )... They write in English and respect basic rules
The largest community of users HMG/Harbour speaks Portuguese
