xHarbour.com SQLRDD and HMG

Hello,

Can anyone suggest the changes required to get xHarbour.com's SQLRDD to work with HMG 3.0.4?

I guess at a high level it involves pointing to the right /INCLUDE and /LIBs but was hoping someone has gone down this path before more and can share the optimal steps they found.

I think this a question for harbour developpers.
This is a HMG ( a GUI for he Harbour compiler ) forum.

Let me take a step back perhaps...

Assume that I have a new library that has one or more ".lib" and ."ch" files that did not come with the default HMG install. If up-to-this point all my HMG programs have been created using just the standard build.bat and just one .prg file and I want to get this new Library to work, what do I need to modify and why in HMG?

I think at this point I am finding many variants of Clipper\Harbour (which is not a bad thing) and not sure what the rules of engagement are to introduce a new library into HMG. This may be a reason more new developers are put off from using xHarbour. Old Clipper 5.x guys had to learn this but new folks may find the availability of make-link-compile-etc docs very unclear.

AFAIR sqlrdd is a closed source lib only generated for xharbour.
harbour and xharbour pcodes are incompatible, so I seriouslky doubt this will ever work.

There's been some years since I used to read xh forums. But I think SQLRDD is/was used to lock users into the paid version of xHarbour

I did not know this. I figured all xHarbour was the same at the core. Thanks for pointing that out.
