A good notice for harbour / minigui world

I want notice from a post of bruno luciano:
Marinas-IDE 01.90 build 0000 has been released.
Integrated Development Environment for Marinas-GUI, an hbqt based project that allows make native multiplatform GUI applications with Harbour and Qt.

And it works very well. Full HBQT power with MiniGUI syntax.

Too bad that the Marinas and HMG4 team don´t work together on one product.

HMG4 is commited to grant backwards compatibility with HMG3, and that's a limitation Marinas IDE doesn't have.
On the other side, some people are team players by nature and others doesn't.
There's also a cultural background we can't fight.
Southamerican educational system don't teach how to do team work.
Our culture is bassed on Ego, from filosophers, journalists, goverment and teachers, all the way down to individuals.

And I still have to see a "business" type program built with hbQt... One that interfaces with DBF data, one you use to create invoices and do other business-type stuff...

I'm interested in the user interaction with the program...

If you like HMG programming style, you have the following choices:

- HMG
- MiniGUI Extended
- OOHG
- HBQTCOMMAND

All of these are stable and solid and most of them have a big and active user base.

If you look at the forums for almost all of those, you'll find hundreds of users from all over the world, talking about their experiences in *real world* applications.

So, I absolutely disagree with your opinions.

Diversity is good. Its direct consequence, was a wider user base and better products, targetted to users with different needs.

Think about this as of Linux: More flavors, makes it more stronger.
