Set Navigation Extended...
Actually it helps to move around the controls using 'Enter' key too (like console mode clipper/harbour).
From HMG Documentation...SET NAVIGATION EXTENDED | STANDARD
When set to EXTENDED, pressing ENTER key when focus is in TEXTBOX COMBOBOX or DATEPICKER, acts like TAB key.
Actually it helps to move around the controls using 'Enter' key too (like console mode clipper/harbour).
East or West HMG is the Best.
South or North HMG is worth.
...the possibilities are endless.

Hi Daniel,
this is an example:
where "BTEXIT", "BTRECEDT", "BTRECADD" are .bmp defined in your .rc file.
Other people like use a series of defined buttons (perhaps in a splitchild)... Up to you.
Little, little suggestion from another newbe: take a look to the example...
this is an example:
Code: Select all
DEFINE TOOLBAR MainToolBar BUTTONWIDTH 60 BUTTONHEIGHT 30 IMAGEWIDTH 20 IMAGEHEIGHT 20 FONTNAME "Arial" FONTSIZE 8 STRICTWIDTH .T. FLAT .T. BORDER .T.
TOOLBUTTON bt_Exit CAPTION "e&Xit" PICTURE "BTEXIT" ONCLICK p005_Exit() SEPARATOR .T.
TOOLBUTTON bt_RecAdd CAPTION "&Add" PICTURE "BTRECADD" ONCLICK p005_RecAdd() SEPARATOR .T.
TOOLBUTTON bt_RecEdit CAPTION "&Edit" PICTURE "BTRECEDIT" ONCLICK p005_RecEdit() SEPARATOR .T.
END TOOLBAR

Re: 3 databases 3 tabs 3 grids
i look the examples, in special "contactos" in the samples directory
but i mean, publish a more complex aplication
with the 3 grids and the buttons in a tool bar or buttons alone
and publish it in the sample directory with the hmg setup
exactly like your 3 grids, bur with the buttons included
buttons : --first - previous - next - last --- add - delete - modify --- seek - report
again, you are the man, luigi
aaahh, and still, if somebody help with the camera - scanner - fingerprint project, i am not kidding, i am willing to share the money that i am going to charge for that project
luigi, are you interested in help me with that ?
i know the activex is the path to follow
have a great day !

Hi Daniel,
about first question I can do something (I'm try to develop a simple family contability, ASAP I share on this forum).
For other, I'm sorry, I don't have knowledge to handle fingerprint, camera, etc. with ACTIVEX. Perhaps, with the new HMG generation (rel 4) there will be
more facilities, I don't know.
