Touch screen technology is to emulate the mouse. Touching the screen is like clicking a mouse. Nothing in particular.

Try to search my posts. Few years ago I've created touch module for gastro selling.
You can use buttons or labels or pictures. All controls should be large enough for using fingers.
I've tried to use windows on screen keyboard odk.exe, but finally I've realized my own solution.
Some problems may occur with browse or grid because of row height and small scrolling buttons.
You can usemy MiniGrid solution based on panel window and labels.
