Find out who has Excel file locked for editing

Hi,
Does anyone know how to check who open a shared workbook on a network drive ? The excel file will notice who locked the file and ask you to open it
with read-only, but most of time it just indicate someone open it and doesn't know who open it. So I wonder if any way to show the IP address of the PC that locked the excel file.

hi,

Excel is not a "Server" so you can't find out who access a File.

on "Server" you can see which files are access by User.
